House of Lies by Martin Kihn

A fun, quick moving parody of sorts about one man’s journey in the world of management consulting. Martin’s witty humor made this an enjoyable read, although at times the corporate world tales hit close to home. The books essentially reads like part sarcastic consulting how-to book, and part autobiography explaining how the author came to realize the most important traits to have in a consulting career. And although this book is meant as a humorous read, I have a feeling that the author hardly exaggerated as the truth is funnier than any fiction.

A Showtime TV series with the same name has Martin as the main character, but the show is entirely different then this book.
